The Historical Document Collecting Masterclass Podcast Series

At Raab, we believe being an educated collector is vital to building an exceptional collection. To that end, we share our decades of experience through collecting guides, stories, and podcasts designed to engage and enlighten. We also have a dedicated “Learning” section on the website that walks collectors through the basics related to topics of authenticity, valuation, and forgery.

On the Inspired by History podcast, we’ve launched a series of episodes on how to start and build a collection of historical documents. These episodes are listed below, and this list will be added to as we continue the Masterclass Series. We intend for the series to be an effective resource for collectors, especially those who are just beginning or expanding their collections.

Episode 1: Why Collect

We delve into the history of collecting, discuss what compels people to become collectors, and offer advice on how to get started.
