The Republican National Convention was held from June 10–12, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio. President Coolidge was nominated on the 12th, on the first ballot.

Typed Letter Signed as President, on White House letterhead, Washington, June 13, 1924, the very day after his nomination, to Harry K. Taylor, Connecticut notary and supporter, who had written congratulating him. “Thank you very much for your note of congratulation, and for your friendly assurances. I know that I can count upon your very effective aid.”
