The Presidential Descendant Will Curate an Exhibit at Raab
The Raab Collection is excited to welcome Massee McKinley as our next Guest Curator. Massee McKinley’s maternal ancestor is the 22nd and 24th US President Grover Cleveland. He is the 2nd great-grandson of Cleveland. He is fond of and speaks extensively about his 2nd great-uncle, 25th US President William McKinley.

McKinley is the founding partner of Peerage Communications, LLC, an executive and political communications boutique consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. He has written for the likes of Delta Airlines, The Coca-Cola Company, LVMH (Louis Vuitton), Hermès, and Ferragamo. McKinley has also written for three former United States House Speakers.
McKinley is also Cofounder, Vice President, and Chief of Staff of The Society of Presidential Descendants and Co-chair of the National First Ladies Day Commission.
The exhibit curated by McKinley will debut on the Raab website later this month.
About the Guest Curators Program at Raab
Several times a year, The Raab Collection invites authors, historians, and thought leaders to choose a selection of documents currently for sale with Raab and curate a themed exhibit with commentary by the Guest Curator. They share their experience and expertise, motivations and passions, bringing history to life in ways only they can. Previous Guest Curators have included Mike Makowsky, writer/creator of Death by Lightning; Dr. Lindsay M. Chervinsky, Executive Director of the George Washington Presidential Library at Mount Vernon; and Stewart McLaurin, President of the White House Historical Association, among others.
The Raab Collection is often on the front line of historical discovery. Many of the pieces we sell are unpublished or were acquired directly from the descendants or heirs of historical figures and collectors, often unseen by the general public or the research community before. This offers each Guest Curator robust and interesting material to highlight.
