Nalbro Frazier was a prominent Philadelphia businessman connected with the great Barings financial firm. For a time he was in charge of their financial dealings in Argentina. So he was the natural choice to represent Argentina in Philadelphia. Document signed, Washington, March 5, 1863, naming Nalbro Frazier the Consul of the Argentine Republic at Philadelphia. His son of the same name served for three years in the Union Army.
