On June 17, the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site in Indianapolis hosted Nathan Raab for an evening reception and presentation titled “The Hunt for Presidential History,” a reference to Raab’s bestselling book, The Hunt for History.

Nathan discussed recent historical discoveries, his experiences with document authentication, and the wider world of presidential autograph collecting. He specifically noted two major Harrison discoveries: President William Henry Harrison’s gold medal, which was discovered and sold by Raab in 2015, and the signed reading copy of President Benjamin Harrison’s inaugural address.
The signed reading copy of Harrison’s address, loaned by Raab to the site through August 30, and an annotated draft of the address from the site’s own collection, were prominently displayed during the program. A book signing followed.
