A Limited Edition Bookplate for The Hunt for History

The Hunt for History (Scribner), Nathan’s first book, comes out March 10.  To celebrate the occasion, we commissioned artist Matthew James Collins, based in Florence, to create a custom bookplate with a nod to our own history.

In 1989, Steven Raab opened what was then Steven S. Raab Autographs and has become the Raab Collection. For inspiration for his letterhead, he used an old patriotic eagle from the Civil War period.  We still have the original:

The new bookplate, printed in limited edition numbers, uses that as inspiration and allows Nathan to provide signed inscriptions for those individuals who buy the book, but cannot join us in person at a stop along the book tour.
