A Victoria Cross Winner Sends a Piece of His Order of the British Empire (OBE) Ribbon.

WWI: Donald Dean. Victoria Cross winner for consolidating a post and repulsing 5 attacks in one day in September, 1918, northwest of Lens, France.

Autograph Letter Signed on his letterhead, 1 page 8vo, Sept. 1, 1975 sending his autograph and ribbons. "…I regret that I have no photo to send, but I enclose a small piece of both the O.B.E. and T.D. ribbons just in case they interest you…" Fine, with the actual pieces of ribbons included, each measuring 3/4 by 1 1/2 inch.
