A Beautiful Signed Photograph of Theodore Roosevelt Sitting at His Desk in the White House

A 7 by 9 inch photograph of President Theodore Roosevelt at his desk in the White House, dated December 30, 1902. The photograph is from the Washington studio of Barnett McFee Clinedinst, who was also the official White House photographer. It was signed just weeks after two important events of his presidency: his pick for the Supreme Court, Oliver Wendell Holmes, was confirmed and took his seat; and he delivered his State of the Union message, telling the nation “We still continue in a period of unbounded prosperity.”
