Document Signed as President, Washington, November 16, 1903 appointing John Joy Edson a member of the Board of Charities of Washington, countersigned by Secretary of State John Hay. Edson (1846-1935) was a prominent Washington banker and businessman and was president of the District government’s Board of Charities.
