A notice of levy in the hand of Cumberland County clerk John Agnew, Carlisle, April 22, 1773, directing the county sheriff to turn over goods he seized from a debtor so that they can be sold. On the verso, after reciting the case information, the sheriff signs, stating “No buyers,” and Wilson signs beneath as attorney, “Wilson.”
