Sold – The Official 1933 Inaugural Program

Signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Vice President John Nance Garner, and Others.

On March 4, 1933, Franklin D. Roosevelt was inaugurated the 32nd President of the United States. This is the 8 by 10 inch Official 1933 Inaugural Program, copy 791 of the Limited De Luxe Edition, signed by Inaugural Committee chairman Cary Grayson. The program is 65 pages and contains biographies of the new President and his Vice President, John Nance Garner, details of the ceremonies, Inaugural Ball, the parade, the history of inaugurations, and much else. There are full page photographs of FDR and Garner, each signed. Also pictured in smaller photographs and signing are House Speaker Henry T. Rainey and Mrs. Garner. On an autograph page at back are the signatures of outgoing Vice President Charles Curtis and a number of members of Congress. An interesting memento of that day, and our first signed 1933 Inaugural Program.
