Mark Twain’s Famous Aphorism, “You may straighten a worm, but the crook is in him & only waiting.”

Autograph quotation signed, one of his most famous and included on quotation websites, inscribed to "Abe Weil / artist”: “You may straighten a worm, but the crook is in him & only waiting. Truly yours, Mark Twain”. Uncommon, this being the first time we have seen him write out this particular quotation.  Affixed to a light board.
