The Raab Collection announced simultaneously that it will accept crypto currency, along with its first sale in the alternative payment form, an important letter of Albert Einstein to a buyer in Singapore. It is among a very small number of firms within the collectibles or archives space to look to crypto as a form of payment.
“Accepting crypto currency is a wonderful opportunity not only to take a leadership role in this direction but also to potentially transform the buyer space,” said Nathan Raab, president of the Raab Collection and author of The Hunt for History (Scribner, 2020).
Raab announced it will accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and a handful of other forms.
