The Massachusetts Historical Society, among the most storied and respected of its kind, has acquired an important and extensive archive from Raab. The archive passed down from George Washington Warren and documents the efforts of a generation of Massachusetts men to build the first major Revolutionary War memorial, what is today the Bunker Hill Monument. It formed the basis of a book on the creation of the monument by Warren, the grand nephew of Joseph Warren, fallen hero of the battle.
