The Raab Collection announced today that is offering for sale a rare letter of US Grant during the final days of the Civil War written directly to President Abraham Lincoln. This is one of a handful of letters of Grant to Lincoln known to exist and one of just four from this period that appear in private collections and not in institutions. The vast majority are at the Huntington Library or as copies in the Library of Congress.
