The Raab Collection acquires archives of notable historical families, and often the pieces unpublished and unknown to the historical community. Needless to say, they have never been offered for sale before.
Raab has acquired and is offering for sale an archive purchased from the direct descendants of a President of Williams College at the turn of the 20th century, among them letters of Presidents, other University heads, and leading scientists. Including these unpublished pieces:
- A Letter of former President Taft showing his outrage on the tarring and feathering of an influential southern African American doctor
- A letter from Dr. William Osler to another leading early doctor, the author Oliver Wendell Holmes
